The University of Arkansas Resilient Food Initiative is a collaborative research group within the College of Engineering working to improve the resiliency of agricultural production. Our team utilizes modeling and simulation techniques to assess potential environmental impacts and evaluate ways in which to produce enough high quality and nutritious food for an ever expanding population.

The 2018 Emissions Gap Report by the United Nations predicts that global warming emissions will rise by 10% between 2017 and 2030. In order to prevent the devastating 2 degree rise in global temperatures emissions need to drop by 25% instead.
