Sustainability Fact of the Week – 02/04/19

Insects are essential for proper functioning ecosystems; however, over 40% of insect species are in decline and 1/3 are endangered. Their rate of extinction is 8X that of other animal groups and is predominantly driven by intensive agriculture and pesticides.
